Frequently Asked Questions About our Flower and Rose Petal Rosary Beads:
How do I ship my flowers to BloomInBeads?
Please ship flowers in paper shipping envelopes or small cardboard boxes. Pack your petals loosely and if you are shipping flowers of different colors, wrap each color in separate pieces of white tissue paper. Do not ship petals in in plastic envelopes or wrapped in any type of plastic. Plastic encourages the growth of mold, which would destroy the quality of your petals. You may either ship the entire head of a flower or just the petals. Please do not ship your flowers with stems or leaves attached. You may ship petals either already dried or fresh. If they are mailed fresh, I will dry them for you prior to making your beads.
Can I use flowers that have been saved and dried from awhile ago?
Absolutely! The flowers that you send may either be from a recent event or from flowers saved from a while ago. The petals may still be used to make your beads as long as they are in good condition and have not been affected by mold.
What kinds of flowers may I use?
You may use any type of flower you wish. Usually brighter or more intensely colored petals show up more colorfully in the opaque beads than white or cream colored flowers but any flower types and colors may be used.
How many flowers do I need to make one rosary?
This depends upon the type of flower you would like to use. If a flower has many petals, such as a head of a large rose, the rule of thumb is usually one rose per rosary. If the flower petals you wish to use are small, then what would amount to a handful of petals in their dried form would be necessary to create a set of rosary beads. It's usually better to send a little more than not enough!
How do I care for my rosary beads?
Because these beads are made with organic materials (your petals), please do not expose them to harsh sunlight or heat or they may crack or become discolored. Please store them in a cool, dry place.
What do you charge for shipping?
Shipping is free with a minimum order of $75.00. Any orders below $75.00 will be charged a flat shipping rate of $5.00. Your package will be shipped via US Postal Service First Class with delivery confirmation.
What type of payments do you accept?
We gladly accept money orders or personal checks. Any returned checks will incur an additional 35.00 fee which must be paid before we start making your order.
Where do I mail my flowers?
Please send your petals to:
Leslie Burke/ BloomInBeads.com
26 Green Hill Avenue
North Andover, MA 01845
How do I know when you've received my order?
Please include your email address with your order (there is a line for your email address on the printable order form) I will email you when your petals have been received.
How long does it take for orders to be fulfilled?
Currently, orders take about 6-8 weeks to complete once we receive your petals. Larger orders may take slightly longer. We will also keep your petals for one year from the date of receipt in the event that you would like to place additional orders.
Not completely satisfied?
If for any reason you do not want to keep your rosary beads, just send us a quick email to let us know that you would like to return your item. Please ship your item(s) back to us in the same condition as you received them and we will happily refund you the dollar amount of your order. We want you to be completely satisfied!
**Please Note: because we use crystal and glass beads and metal components in our rosary beads, these items may contain trace amounts of lead which is often used in the manufacture of such items. Because 3rd party testing of each component found in our rosary beads would be cost prohibitive (it would more than double the current cost of each rosary), we do not recommend that our rosary beads be used by children under 13 years of age. **
